Pastor Joe placed his trust in Jesus as his Savior and Lord on Sunday evening June 12, 1970. As a junior in high school, God gave him a clear call to serve the body of Christ in pastoral ministries. Pastor Joe was ordained for the Gospel Ministry by his home church Eastside Baptist Church of Riverdale Georgia in 1983. Pastor Joe received his BA from Mercer University in Atlanta in 1984 and his Masters from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary in 1990. Pastor Joe has had the joy of serving as an associate pastor and church planter of two new church starts. Pastor Joe has also served in two churches needing to experience revitalization. Pastor Joe and his family have also served in fulltime missions for a period of 7 years. Pastor Joe was blessed to be able to train pastors and leaders in many countries throughout Asia, Africa, and the Caribbean. He is the Founder and Director of a mission’s organization called Partnerships for Unreached People. This P4UP mission ministry began in 2003 and continues today. While serving in missions God enabled Pastor Joe to serve as the interim pastor of two churches. Pastor Joe and his family served as the pastor of our Fairview Family from 2001 – 2006. He also served as the interim for our Fairview Family in 2011. Pastor Joe and his family are excited to be called to serve among our Fairview Family once again. God led the Fairview family to extend a unanimous call on March 1, 2015 to be our pastor at Fairview. Pastor Joe is blessed by God to be the husband of Ms. Diane. She is his best friend, chief prayer warrior, and partner in life and ministry. Pastor Joe and Diane are blessed by God to have four children and three grandchildren. Pastor Joe’s passion is to see every person in our community coming to know God in personal relationship through Jesus Christ. His heart is to lead the people of God to grow to maturity and become fruitful and multiplying disciples of Jesus. Pastor Joe has a shepherd’s heart and is committed to the practical teaching of God’s Word.
The Deacon Body at Fairview Baptist Church adheres to the qualifications given in the Holy scriptures put forth in 1st Timothy 3: 8-13 and Titus 1:5-9.
The Deacon Body looks after the general needs of the Fairview-Family.
The Deacons serve with the Pastor and Ministerial Staff in giving leadership to the families of Fairview by using the Deacon Family Ministry.
The Deacons serve with the Pastor and Church Ministerial Staff in giving leadership to our outreach ministry.
The Deacons also serve with the Pastor and Church Ministerial Staff in giving leadership and administering the ordinances of Baptism and the Lord’s Supper, assisting in our benevolence ministry and working to grow our church numerically and spiritually.
Stephen Enada is the President/Co-Founder of the International Committee on Nigeria (ICON). He is currently an Associate Pastor Children/ Mission at Fairview Baptist Church Jonesboro GA. Previously, Stephen served as the Chief Executive Officer of Veritas Development Collaborative Limited and Executive Director of the Ayobola Pension Foundation in Nigeria. He is a Contributing Member of Alliance for Peacebuilding and a fellow of the Equator Peace Academy of Uganda Martyr University and National University of Rwanda, where he traveled throughout East Africa mainstreaming research and models for post war and genocide in East Africa. Stephen earned BA Religious Studies from University of Jos, Diploma from Baptist Seminary and Bachelor of Theology from ECWA Theological Seminary and Executive Education in Finance and Leadership from the Harvard University Graduate School of Design. Stephen is finishing his Master in Global Leadership from Fuller Theological Seminary.
