Pastor Joe placed his trust in Jesus as his Savior and Lord on Sunday evening June 12, 1970. As a junior in high school, God gave him a clear call to serve the body of Christ in pastoral ministries. Pastor Joe received his BA from Mercer University in Atlanta in 1984 and his Masters from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary in 1990. Pastor Joe and his family have also served in fulltime missions for a period of 7 years. Pastor Joe was blessed to be able to train pastors and leaders in many countries throughout Asia, Africa, and the Caribbean. He is the Founder and Director of a mission’s organization called Partnerships for Unreached People. This P4UP mission ministry began in 2003 and continues today. While serving in missions God enabled Pastor Joe to serve as the interim pastor of two churches. Pastor Joe and his family served as the pastor of our Fairview Family from 2001 – 2006. He also served as the interim for our Fairview Family in 2011. Pastor Joe and his family are excited to be called to serve among our Fairview Family once again. God led the Fairview family to extend a unanimous call on March 1, 2015 to be our pastor at Fairview. Pastor Joe is blessed by God to be the husband of Ms. Diane. She is his best friend, chief prayer warrior, and partner in life and ministry. Pastor Joe and Diane are blessed by God to have four children and three grandchildren. Pastor Joe’s passion is to see every person in our community coming to know God in personal relationship through Jesus Christ.
